My 1969 Zeitler Formula Vee Gets Rebuilt Again!

In 2012, after 2 years building my Zeitler FV, I fell thru the roof of my back porch and injured my spine. I knew I could never race my car so I sold it to a good Friend, Bob Browsky. He is doing a rebuild that I could never even dream of. Bob is a master builder and perfectionist and his work on this car shows it.

Bob took the car apart and added the required hoop over the drivers wheel and some additional braces.

Then a new floor, shifter and front beam and suspension.

A completely rebuilt FV-legal engine and transaxle go in.

New tires, brakes, steering, shocks are next. Chassis is almost done.

It is now a rolling chassis and the body work has begun. The new custom made exhaust is similar to the original design. I can't wait to see it finished.

Incredible attention to detail. Bob is building a showpiece. A lot of powder coating and plating went into this build.

Bob's restoration of the Zeitler is nearing completion. Just a few things left to do. Just like the rest of the car, the paint is perfect.

New photos May 1, 2015. Almost ready to race!
